White Tea

Due to white tea being minimally processed, it is known to be one of the most delicate. Harvested at the start of the season, it gets its name from the white fuzz on the young leaves. White tea is made from the young bud which is plucked before the leaf opens on the stem. It is air-dried, which aids in locking in its color and flavor. It originated in the Fujian Provence of China, but, is now grown in other countries. The characteristics of white tea can vary, depending on its region of origin. White tea has a light body and a mild flavor with a crisp, clean finish.
